Meeting the Mayor...and a Quirky BEE give away!

Well, yesterday was National Market day in Stratford Upon Avon where Quirky Bee proudly had a stall full of their goodies.  The day got off to a wet start but gradually brightened, bringing along a steady drift of customers our way.

We decided for the first time to try out a Quirky Bee bargain box which proved very popular, and as long as the pope remains a catholic, people will always love a good bargain or two!

The highlight of the day was of course meeting the Mayor and councilors of Stratford Upon Avon.  They were there to promote the day and chat with stall holders about the success of the local market and how it helped our small business.  We had our photographs taken and the local councilor even purchased one of our oil cloth Kindle covers!

To celebrate our day and just because we haven't yet done one, we are holding the first Quirky Bee give away!  We were undecided as to what people might like, and knowing that not everyone has a Kindle or an iPhone, we went with a general goody! The lucky winner will receive a Limited edition Liberty peacock feather case, which is big enough to hold notebooks, pens or would even make a lovely scissor holder. (Or really, you can just do with it what you please!)  This cotton fabric has been discontinued so will be one of a kind once we have sold the remaining Kindle covers.

To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is share our giveaway status on Facebook and Twitter.  But you will NEED to comment on this blog post leaving your name and where you have shared, as this is where we will be picking the winner from.  All entries will be put into a random number generator and announced on Sunday 15th July.
